The Story of a Journey: From Learning to Teaching…
Efsun Yüksel’s professional journey began in 1991, when she was still a high-school student. Stepping into the pace of the business world at a young age was a strong reflection of both her curiosity and her desire to learn. Throughout her university years, she worked, conducted research, undertook projects, and turned every opportunity presented to her into a space for growth.
Taking on the role of Business Development Manager at Efendiler A.Ş. while still a university student marked the first sign of her early leadership path. When she graduated in 1994 from the Department of Social Sciences and European Relations at Istanbul University, she possessed not only theoretical knowledge but also a multifaceted experience grounded in real-world practice. After graduating, she expanded her global vision by working as an International Marketing and Sales Manager at Barbie Çocuk Giyim.
An International Journey: The London Years
Her desire to work on a global scale led her to London. While completing her business education at Heriot-Watt University, she worked in the retail, finance, tourism, and food and beverage sectors, gaining insight into various dimensions of British business culture. During this period, her studies in psychology, coaching certifications, NLP Master Trainer qualification, and the professional training she received at a two-year body language school enabled Efsun to gain an in-depth understanding of human behavior. In turn, her passion for learning, teaching, and creating transformation evolved into a true area of expertise.
Corporate Life & Academic Experience
Upon returning to Turkey, she worked as a Human Resources manager at an American University and, by joining the academic faculty, gained the opportunity to integrate theory with practice. This period became one of the cornerstones of the training and consultancy models she would design in the years to come.
